It's been hard reading the news the last week or so. I always turn to The Age opinion section first, but have no interest in reading stuff about the US president or Dutton. Or gangsters (there may be some overlap). That's been about it for the past week.
The goverments hopes are misplaced. Pre-fab homes need more materials than traditional housing for stability during transport.
If materials are up 30%, finished construction costs would be up even higher.

I can only assume the entire article was written and/or paid for by fossil fuel interests.
