Anyone know of electronic artist Tor based out of British Columbia, Canada? (tormusic.bandcamp.com)

I have followed them since the early 2000s but I haven’t seen any updates or news since their last album release in 2021.

Just wondering if anyone in BC knows anything further. It’s a long shot but thought I’d ask anyways.

Can I just say that finding hosts for darknet sites is a massive pain in the ass? We're not even talking hosting illicit content like malware, guns, drugs, and phishing, just getting a regular VPS for a basic site is a terribly painful process. It doesn't even have anything to do with the host's ToS and AUP, just their shitty websites, unusable panels, bugs and glitches, and using Cloudflare for everything.

Crunchbits: Panel is fucked on Tor, logs you out
Datawagon: Have to use the legacy panel on Tor
EthernetServers: Uses a payment gateway that blocks Tor
MivoCloud: Stopped supporting Monero
Liteserver.nl: Uses CoinGate, which blocks Tor with Cloudflare
ExtraVM: Can't get passed the check out page half the time
AlexHost: Started flagging "suspicious" accounts asking for ID verification
SpectraIP: Panel logs you out constantly
AnonRDP: My password suddenly stopped working?
Keff: Requires Telegram for purchase
Private Alps: Requires Telegram for support
ThunderVM: Died out of nowhere
Fort.pw: Died out of nowhere
Servers.guru: Offers a Tor address, but makes connections to the clearnet site on Tor. (the fuck?)
Impreza.host: Same as Servers.guru and the prices are completely fucked (Free Tor domain? Really?!)
Kyun.host: Every time I try Kyun, they have an outage or are DDoSed or suffer from catastrophic data loss (The uptime monitor is a lie)
dartnode: Breaks on Tor, bloated as fuck
ServerPoint: Panel inaccessible to Tor
Clouvider: Can't get passed the DDoS protection with Tor

Other hosts have the same problems: Panel doesn't work on Tor, requires SVG, excessive use of Cloudflare, fraud prevention KYC checks, using xmoney or coingate which block Tor, or insanely unreasonable prices.

Getting tougher and tougher out here to just get some basic infrastructure with #tor and #monero. Sad times.

there is any particular reason for search engine starts block requested url referer/no-referer headers at non js search over connections ? "We have detected that you have connected over Tor. There appears to be an issue with the Tor Exit Node you are currently using. Please recreate your Tor circuit or restart your Tor browser in order to fix this. Alternatively, DuckDuckGo is available on Tor via our Onion URL."

Serious question, why is iOS only and closed source, especially if the developer claims isn’t secure enough? Couldn’t something similar be built for Android using Tor? Think Briar, but with maps. Also, aren't low income people more likely to use Android as they are far more affordable than iPhones? Who's the target audience? Not knocking the effort, but I don't understand the logic.

somebody should make a better ICE tracker, for fun.

maybe with ZKP.

maybe over Tor.

maybe P2P.

importantly:

1. it should have a good site that gets the point across
2. it should be easy to use and understand
3. it should do the primary function

&

4. it should fix what you're complaining about the ICE block app (without breaking what the ICE block app already does)

good documentation, PR & UX outwin "more sound designs" every time.
