I came back down from a place where the snow would lay for miles, from first fall to thaw, with no mark on it other than the prints of birds, foxes and squirrels. There's a Reservation under contraction, about ten miles south of Lugh Bend. No people in it yet, but the walls are up, creating the illusion of endless distance, and the environment and weather systems are running. I have friends there, who let me in from time to time. Sometimes, I can do nothing but stand in constant winter, trying to remember what life is like without all of you.

I need like one of those city booze delivery services, but I'm 600 miles away from anywhere that can do that. There are bars here, for another 90 minutes, but they *suck*.

Souvent, quand j'entends des news sur #Trump, je pense à #Transmetropolitan .

Warren Ellis a rien inventé, hein : Nixon, Reagan et Bush père étaient bien suffisants pour pas qu'on s'imagine de prophétie sur la gestion des scandales.

Mais l'histoire du pouvoir qui s'emballe au milieu de la saturation d'images et de consommation... Le côté politique preumdeug du #cyberpunk. On y est vraiment.

Y me flipa leer #ElJueves. La decisión de hacerlo mensual me encanta y me he suscrito digitalmente para leerlo incluso más que antes. #IvanPer, #Teran y #RubenFernandez tienen el mismo humor roto que yo.

Chęć czytania komiksów wciąż żywa :) w międzyczasie wchłonąłem kontynuację Aldebarana czyli Betelgezę. Równie fajne co wcześniejszą część. Dzisiaj jednak o innym dziele.

"Transmetropolitan" autorstwa Warrena Ellisa wgniata w fotel. Dawno nie czytałem tak "mające gdzieś co o nim pomyślisz" dzieła. Bohaterem jest gonzo-dziennikarz Pająk Jeruzalem przemierzający dystopijną cyberpunkową metropolię w poszukiwaniu nowego tematu. Ma totalnie gdzieś panujące normy społeczne co wyraża swoimi czynami i sarkastycznymi komentarzami. Taki trochę Hunter S. Thompson na sterydach.Mam pewne luźne skojarzenia do komiksu Lobo - może ze względu na okazjonalną masakrę jakiej dokonuje bohater?

Komiks jest zabawny i obrazobórczy. Brakowało mi czegoś takiego. Transhumanizmu trochę też się tam odnajdzie.
