I really love our neighborhood turkeys. I can't help it. They are beautiful to me. And they've never once been aggressive to us. I do wish they would poop somewhere other than our yard and driveway though...

Just to be clear, it really was a clown. I'm not being metaphorical. It was a guy in a red sedan with a black Heisenberg hat (My son says it was a red bowler) and big round red circles painted on his cheeks and a red nose. He looked about 80 and was pissed as hell.

Don't think he saw the turkeys, but at the speed he was going he would have killed them all. And after that he drove like a complete asshole.

We just got blocked on a narrow road by a trio of wild turkeys, two males and a female, who kept walking around in a circle in the middle of the road.

Then an angry old clown tried to force his way around us, which would have killed the turkeys. Fortunately he couldn't quite squeeze through.

This is an area known for bird watching, with several trails outlooking a pond, another that wraps around the fields and shoreline. Because of the wildlife, deer and birds, there is a very low speed limit. People pretty much are kept at speeds that will allow them not to hit birds.
