This is a classic dark pattern, also used to shove AI into everything.

Something I think a lot about is how common signaling personal availability state sill is in com-apps. Made much worse by having several of them running in parallel on same or multiple devices.

While this was quite useful in the dial-up age of internet. In today's always-on, from multiple device, they rarely make any sense.

What's worse: For many of us - especially on the neurodiversity spectrum - they cause all sorts of uncomfortable feelings.

The key for <>| that always been to the left of the Z-key, is now replaced by a wider Shift-key. And <>| moved to the L-key.

The real crazy thing is how to actually type them:

- FN + L = <
- FN + AltGr + L = |

But for > it has to be in this specific order:
- Shift + FN + L = >

That's because:
FN + Left Shift = FN-Lock
FN + Right Shift = Print Screen

Those ✅ this layout are for sure not affected by their own stupidity!

According fanboys MacOS is supposedly this marvel of usability.
So I've got bluetooth headphones. No visual indication whether they are connected. Could hit volume buttons, but there is no sound feedback either. So it's either couple mouse clicks on tiny buttons, or play something and be ready to disturb people around.
Yes, fanboys, I know it's headphones problem, not your beloved OS problem. I claim otherwise.
