Visual hierarchy isn’t just design fluff — it’s how your content whispers, speaks, or screams.
Make headers bold, subheads clear, and let body text chill quietly in the corner.
If everything shouts, nothing gets heard. 😉

Your product isn’t ugly… you just introduced it like a maniac!!
Having all this in place now, I need to think of a better way of the flow of creating and managing the groups, but not only that. In the groups menu, once a new one is created, the user doesn’t have to tap “Save.” The changes are saved on their own.

The best design isn’t what looks good—it’s what makes life easier, more accessible, and more human. #GoodDesign #UXMatters
I'm sorry to repeat that yet again, but: Users are never wrong.
Users did something, users concluded something, users interacted somehow, because of the UX *you* made.

Another example of incredible form instructions:
"Please click submit before submitting the application! "

To IT folks: Remember the times when we laughed at people that did not know how to take screenshot or screen recording and instead used their phone cameras to do so?
To the same IT folks: Now did you realise that we laughed so hard and for so long that this became the norm instead of "the right way" to do recording? Instead, you know, actually us solving the problem and offering a good, intuitive, native, integrated solution?
The fact that in 2023 meany "flagship" #Android apps can't take user input and fire a background task on things that will *inevitably* take long time (cause they can, by design, handle a lot of data) to free the UI for the user. And instead they hog the app with annoying loaders. This is just ... sad.
In what universe is this acceptable default zoom level when looking for an accomodation "around me"? #UxMatters
This accidentally reminded me of my other belief:
Companies are oftentimes making it so like their users are dumb. When in reality it's just the poor UX and lack of affordances that make people do "dumb" things. And dumb in big quotes.
Here I am not able to lookup email address according to domain, but I do know that Gmail search is first class. So I can use that to find said company name in the email body. Giving me a pointer to the desired email address.
Users are not dumb, designs are.
I'm writing an email to a company. I don't remember the name of the specific person I already talked to. But I do remember the name of the company. So it's logical to search for the part of the email address behind @. Yet in 2023 this does not seem to be in the minds of the designers.

Embracing Introverted Strengths, Part 1
From UX Matters
"Many UX professionals are naturally introverted, which likely contributes to their not achieving the same career growth as other more extroverted professionals within an extrovert-biased corporate environment."

When metrics are importanter than #UX 🤦
Not sure if it's intentional, but there is no way to continue to login, the "Mobile Log In" button tries to download the app.
"it was astonishing that merely putting a chat UI in front of GPT-3.5 led to 100 million additional people discovering what had already existed for a while. But the form factor really matters. "

To all the theme designers: Differentiating between H1, H2, H3, etc by changing font size is *not* enough for people like me. Give me colours, give me cursive, give me whole line underline, give me different font, give me something I can identify at-a-glance & without the need to have surrounding context.
