Following up the password utility, I’ve also created a website called Spicyham. It is used to generate unique email aliases for every site you register for. This should increase security since both the password and account name is unique for each site. You will also now when companies sell your data or have a data breach. Then you can just remove the alias.
It’s kind of like adding a +suffix to a GMail address. But the aliases can be deleted when not used anymore, and it ensures that suffixes aren’t stripped. There are also features to use a template to generate the alias, by default it uses the domain name without the TLD, but you can also add randomized strings. Just add a bookmarklet to your browser and click on it to go to Spicyham with the domain of the site already populated in the alias creation form.
You need to supply your own domain and API access to one of the supported email services. You will own the data yourself, and the aliases are not stored in Spicyham.
Things I wish were easier in #Thunderbird
- reading an email, make it easy to view all mails i've gotten from this sender
- a block button so all emails from a sender/domain are rejected by the server and don't even show up in my spam/trash
- make the filters portable so i can have the same setup on my different computers
otherwise I do like it and use it every day #email is good.

UDPGangster Campaigns Target Multiple Countries
UDPGangster, a UDP-based backdoor associated with the MuddyWater threat group, has been observed targeting users in Turkey, Israel, and Azerbaijan. The malware is delivered through malicious Microsoft Word documents with embedded VBA macros, employing sophisticated anti-analysis techniques to evade detection. The campaigns use phishing emails impersonating government entities and include decoy images to distract victims. UDPGangster installs persistence, collects system information, and communicates with its command and control server using UDP. The malware supports various commands for remote execution, file extraction, and payload deployment. Analysis reveals connections to previous MuddyWater operations and shared infrastructure with other known malware.

Deceptive Layoff-Themed HR Email Distributes Remcos RAT Malware
A malicious email campaign exploits workforce anxieties by disguising itself as internal HR announcements about layoffs. The emails contain a RAR archive with a double-extension executable masquerading as a PDF document. Upon execution, the file deploys Remcos RAT, a remote access tool, which establishes persistence, collects system information, and prepares the infected host for remote access. The malware uses NSIS compilation to conceal its intent and creates configuration files and registry entries for victim identification and persistence.
