Im Vortrag "Fachspezifische Datenmodelle als Brücke zwischen materieller Kultur, Theorie und Praxis" wurde klar, wie fachspezifische Datenmodelle mit WissKI Barrels als Brücke zwischen Theorie und Praxis wirken. Besonders für kleinere Museen ohne große IT ist das ein echter Gamechanger: Praxisnah, nachhaltig und sofort einsetzbar im Sammlungsdaten-Lebenszyklus. Ein starkes Beispiel für angewandte Forschungsdatenpraxis.

Im Vortrag „Semantic Modelling of Intermedial and Intertextual References in Comics“ wurde das epistemische Potenzial semantischer Modellierung für die Analyse komplexer Bezüge in Comics diskutiert. Am Beispiel von Sibylla von Max Baitinger zeigte sich, wie Wissensgraphen literarisches und visuelles Wissen strukturiert, transparent und interoperabel abbilden können.

Imagine you're using an LLM to develop software that does some form of identity management, authentication, authorisation or attribution to real-world people (so pretty much anything).
Now imagine that the LLM has been trained not just on Shakespeare's The Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing and A Comedy of Errors, but on several centuries of literary criticism that hold these up as exemplars. Plays running to triple digits of editions and criticism running to double digits of editions.
Would you trust that Shakespeare-grounded identity management for any serious purpose?
Now remember that Shakespeare is what their creators emphasize they're trained on, so we don't think about the straight-up copyright theft and other shenanigans involved.
