Die letzten acht Jahre habe ich immer genau um diese Zeit ein neues E-Book zu Ubuntu 12.04, 14.04, 16.04 und 18.04 veröffentlicht. Diese Periodizität findet heuer leider ihr Ende.

:ubuntu: Support für Ubuntu 14.04 endet

Am 25. April 2019 lief für „Trusty Tahr“ die offizielle Unterstützung aus. Deshalb wird es keine weiteren Sicherheitsupdates für diese Ubuntuversion geben.

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS: Reguläre Versorgung mit Sicherheitsupdates endet im April

Am 25. April läuft der reguläre Support für Ubuntu 14.04 LTS aus. Updates gibt es danach nur noch für zahlende Unternehmenskunden.

For now I'm using an Intel NUC and I don't like this any longer being based on #Ubuntu-14.04. Time for a change to #Hyperbola. No #systemd, more flexibility.
