Mexico's Congress is about to start discussion on a new Humanities, Science, Technology and Innovation bill that will regulate those sectors under the supervision of the National Council for Science and Technology.

The bill declares its aim to be the guarentee of the human right to science. Sadly, its articles seek to limit this right, as well as #academicfreedom and #universityautonomy.

I have co-organised an event to discuss the bill and how it could be approved.
