This prompt reminded me of a quick sketch I made a long (10+ yrs?) ago where I repeated three clusters of squares and varied each cluster with random x/y shifts and rotation. I tried recreating that sketch here and while I spent waaaay too much time working on it, I don’t really like the outputs.

Sad to hear of the death of Vera Molnár, née Gács ( https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/15/arts/vera-molnar-dead.html ). Her pioneering work on computer generated art - see "AN INTERVIEW WITH VERA MOLNAR" ( https://www.rightclicksave.com/article/an-interview-with-vera-molnar ) - inspired me in my undergraduate thesis on fractal images. Yet another woman that played a significant role in computer science history, but for whom most computer scientists have no knowledge.
