Looking for info on transgender safe and friendly places in Weston super Mare online reveals a rather sordid side of the town with tv hookups and massage but no actual information for trans folks. Like where are safe spaces to pee for trans women and men? Everything seems rather backward here.!

I managed to get out this afternoon with a camera. Only walked about two miles I'm afraid. I was much, much better last week, though I may have over done things a little - which has set me back somewhat.
The #Phonak hearing aids I have are nothing short of life changingly good! Even so, wearing them when my ears are not well is a challenge.

I am though kinda[kind of] pleased with this photograph. 🙂

Catching up on some festive period broadcasts of World's Strongest Man, which covers the competition held earlier in 2024. Lovely to see Rob Kearney compete in his final event and all the rainbow beards on display. Great talk about the importance of representation in the sport. The "World's Strongest Gay" was much-loved by everyone. There were tears.

I haven't made #bacon on the #wsm #smoker in about a year. This is a new batch. A little salty as it sat for an extra week. I tried to get some salt out by letting it soak in fresh water for a few hours before smoking. Took about 5 hours of smoke @150°f
