when i start brain hemorrhage like this, i never know where i will end.
this time, i didn't know even where to begin!
i started
#ahoxus in 2019, in a sense, as a continued work on my feelings towards
#freedom.
back in 2004 i got shocked by the existence of
#wikipedia, and could never stop looking at open source software ever since.
but much before that, i always remember as a kid (born 1981 here) of how much i loved those books that showed how everything works, from castles, to big cruise ships, and the human body, by simply showing drawings with everything opened up and detailed explanations of all small pieces.
very much like tim do on
#waitbutwhy.
i talk a lot about computers, and often forget the other aspects of freedom, because i use computers since very little. perhaps 5 years old.
nowadays, i kind of throw all these feelings together when i bring up
#agpl and
#fupl. and even my concerns with
#transparency or
#harmonicchaos.
in the end, just my completely unpaid work (~trying~) to make the world better for me first, and then for everyone who might want to tag along.
but
#whocares? certainly paul mccartney never could care enough to get in touch! 🤣
