#WhatIsItWednesday

Here is a #TokenTuesday piece I really don't know a lot about. All I have found was on Google which gave the address: GF2H+V57, Barki Rd, next to Lahore School of Economics, Sector P DHA Phase 6, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
Phone: +92 302 7855501 (but Permanently closed as at 5th July 2023). It's not listed on Token Catalog or Numista. Does anyone know any more please?

It's nearly time for the next Coin of Note #Newsletter! But first, no-one has guessed the #MysteryCoin! I'm beginning to think these are too hard?

Ok this one is an industrious looking #anepigraphic coin.
#Factories and a #plow... but from where? And when?

While you're thinking, don't forget to sign up to the newsletter to find out the answer! coinofnote.com/newsletter/

Awhile ago I posted about a Constantivs II Ivnior, VOT X (Roman) coin: coinofnote.com/constantivs-ii- - I picked it up from a local seller. Today, I visited her & picked up a bunch more! Sure, they're not expensive or rare pieces, but sometimes its fun just to stare at a coin for awhile to work out exactly what it is (I mean, it is fun right, it's not just me?) In any case, *I* am looking forward to going through them :)

Almost late #WhatIsItWednesday, but here's one I haven't been able to get a solid answer on. It's 19mm diameter, and weighs 1.99g, same both sides. Unknown metal. Suggested it's a token from a Japanese Cherry Blossom festival, but happy for any leads or suggestions?

Now a more modern one I just like the look of. 100 Francs from #Tunisia, 1950. Not least of which because it is a coin with a "Design" no one knows! What is the design? You decide! In fact, do please tell me, as I am curious now... coinofnote.com/tunisia-100-fra #SaturdayNightCoinShow #CoinCollecting #Numismatics #Crescent Should have saved this for #WhatIsItWednesday

Ok the challenge is on for all you #Numismatic #History lovers! There are guesses for this #mystery #coin over on the *other* site. Don't let them beat us to it! Who can tell us what this piece is? (The answer will be in this week's coinofnote.com/ newsletter) - you don't have to subscribe to guess, though I'm hoping I can interest you :)

Ok here is one I'm curious about. Dr Krückels, numbered 149. Single sided. Any ideas please? #WhatIsItWednesday?

I was going to save this for #WhatIsItWednesday, but I'm curious now :) Has anyone got any idea on this #token please? Same both sides, kind of a stylized image of someone jumping? And I *think* that text underneath says "Imagine"?

Possibly from #Australia, but really could be from anywhere

A white-metal coin, possibly originally brass coated, with a design possibly of an abstract image of a person jumping with a smile, or sideways C in their middle. Text underneath which I think reads "Imagine"

Here's another interesting one for #WhatIsItWednesday, Qing Dynasty #China (is that medieval enough for here? Apologies if not!), Yong Zheng Tong Bao - Boo je, similar to en.numista.com/catalogue/piece listed as 22.188 in David Hartill's Cast Chinese Coins. BUT, I haven't seen one with clipped corners like this one. I know things like Rosette holes in Chinese Cash coins were often done for special occasions, although most of the reasoning is lost to time. Is this similar?

Ok let's jump from #TokenTuesday to #WhatIsItWednesday? This came as being a Bronze Trachy from Bulgaria, 1300s, it's 20mm diameter, but I can't find much about it. Can anyone help please? I like the cross & there is some clear detail on that side, but the other side is tricker.
