Here's a screen-viewable copy of The Pandemic Never Ended: Safety for Harm Reductionists and lovers: online.fliphtml5.com/uppam/pky

It's presented as an animated book you flip through, and there's no option I can see to download a print-version of it.

Someone has created a PDF* from this flip-through version, which is good to have, but the PDF has (somewhat distracting) shading at the edges of the pages because of the filp-through-a-"book" interface that it comes from.

It would be really awesome to have a print-quality version of this to distribute. Any ideas of how we could access one?

Boosts appreciated for reach! 🖤️🖤️🖤️

* There's a link to the PDF and the screen-viewable copy in this zine directory: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d from here: Mask Bloc Seattle Covid Safety Printables/Resources directory: drive.google.com/drive/folders (go to Printables by Other Groups > Zines)

Does anyone know of a PRINT-QUALITY version of this Covid safety tri-fold brochure, or how to contact the creators?

It's called:

The Pandemic Never Ended: Safety for Harm Reductionists and lovers.

And it's credited to:

"The Big Gay Guide of How Not to Die" and "Scrap Yard"

The mask bloc I organize with is sourcing Covid zines/etc to distribute at the Upstate Anarchist Book Fair in a couple of weeks, and I'd love to have this one as an option, especially if we can source a print-quality version.

If you know of one, or how to contact the creators, please let me know!

I've always loved @crimethincredux stuff. They were my re-entry into anarchism after wandering away in my 20s. Some might say CrimethInc's for the kids, and it is, but the rebellious joy and poetry of crusties and activists isn't present elsewhere at their scale and accessibility. Everyone needs a bit of romance and CrimethInc are romantics.

'Punk: Dangerous Utopia' is a zine version of the foreword to @activedistribution 's recent book, 'Smash The System! Punk Anarchism as a Culture of Resistance'. It's good. An overview of how punk came out of hippy counterculture, "like a bacteria that had become immune to antibiotics." (6)
-
The zine starts, "Let's imagine the ideal cultural vehicle for anarchism." (2) It goes on to describe what seems like an utopian vision but is really all the best parts of punk. CrimethInc's language is tasty. Witness: "Afflict the comfortable, comfort the afflicted." (2) There are many quotable parts to this zine.

With everything that has happened in the past year and is still happening, it's easy to become despondent, but I think like the punk practice of DIY, ya just gotta get out there and do something. Movement is life. Inertia is death. Maybe read this zine and get inspired to do more in '24.
