A first Winter Hike to refresh the Basics

The first snow of the season called for a short winter hike — no grand plans, just a quick round in the nearby mountains. Some nice motives, a surprising encounter and a reminder to think about some winter basics were all along the way.

Hey, this is my last photo from the hike last weekend. I didn't manage to capture the whole Vista so I tried to zoom in on some distant . In the mid you can see the .

Usually you see epic photos from atop this mountain but not from the mountain itself.
And well, I thought it could make a nice photo.

I usually post in the evening today's post inthe morning for the 'Fotovorschlag' somehow broke my routine.

Anyways, I wanted to share this photo from my hike on sunday. It was my first winter-hike this season! Saturday was a great cloud inversion - which I missed - sunday greeted me (and QUITE some more hikers) with a plain blue sky.

I hope I can get out again on the weekend to test warmer socks.

I'm just walking a bit after I was hiking a local mountain. And this is really a photo for me.

Had a nice coffee and cake today.

On thursday was our annual works outing. We took the train to #BadTölz in the morning, had a long and very good breakfast in #CafeLove and then we took a 2.5 hour long walk along the #Isar to #Lenggries. There we had coffee and very good "Strudel" in #BrotUndTorte before jumping on the train back to Munich. What a wonderful day!
