Transformers Shockwave car alt modes

I’ve been curious about #Transformers #Binaltech for a while, so when Skids turned up I had to give him an go! Hard to believe he’s almost 20 years old. Fully detailed interior and interesting transformation engineering, though my favorite robot, #Toyhax:ed masterpiece Reboost here (actually a recolor of Skids), is unsurprisingly a lot less finicky and therefore more fun to handle.

(and yeah cars HAVE gotten bigger but here 1/24 vs 1/32 scale is to blame)

Two compact model cars side by side, one blue and one red. The blue one is a Toyota bB from the 00s, and the red one is a Honda City from the 80s. They’re quite similar in both looks and finish though the scale difference (1/32 and 1/24) makes the red car quite a bit smaller.

The two cars from the previous pic have now been transformed into robots and are holding hands.
