Another fabulous feast from Mami Maggies' Recipes at Roath Market, where it's so good to be able chat to the people who make your food. We shared a veggie version of their Box of Everything, adding an extra side of irresistible puff puffs because Mme wouldn't have it any other way.

Relished every joyful bite of those vibrant & savoury West African flavours. Great value for money too.

A quarter of Lahmacun's falafel flatbread lies on a craft potter plate, with a part-eaten piece of crust to the left. The flatbread is topped with a layer of crushed falafel, overlaid with drizzled tahini, bright rose-coloured pomegranate seeds and pickled red onions, plus some green herbs. To the front of the image, spoonsful of white garlic and red scotch bonnet sauces.

Roath Market today. Bagged a West African Box of Everything & extra irresistible puff puffs from Mami Maggie's Recipes, Sicilian Pasta a Casa's panelle & arancini, Greek orange pie from Sofia's Pastries & Lahmacun's Arabic flatbread, rhubarb & rose Bakewell tart & saffron & barberry carrot cakes.

While waiting, an international customer recommended Pavel's strawberries but his queue was too long for us!
