This photo was all luck to get… #NubbleLighthouse does not usually light up the decorative lights until it’s winter. By chance, I happened to have the urge to drive out for some photos and caught them testing the lights. The overcast skies made for no sunset, but the lights more than made up for that!

OMG

I took this picture this morning (8/14/23) at Long Sands Beach in York, Maine. I met my friend Jim, and we were treated to an amazing sunrise. This is a view looking towards Nubble Lighthouse. If you look hard enough, you can see the lighthouse beacon.

For Graham The November full "Beaver Moon" at Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick, Maine. My first grandson was born 10 days ago, and I couldn't be happier. As I've taken some pictures since then, I've been wanting to dedicate one to him. It wasn't quite the composition I was hoping for, as I didn't want to get into photographers row elbow to elbow. I opted for a different take, and as soon as I snapped this one, I said to myself, this one's for you Graham.
