It’s Co-op Hackathon time again in early October. This one’s all about creating joined up digital infrastructure for the co-op movement.

It’s another Co-operatives UK event I’m organising, and takes place in the West Midlands. We’re already having meetings to plan it collaboratively. Check it out!

Looks like #bandcamp updated their terms of use and some of the language is a bit worrisome.

There's much celebrating at my parents home today!

For nearly 20 years they've lived in a rural area with no wired internet available. Thanks to Electric Cooperatives fiber was run to their community. After years of sub 10Mb speeds, they now have a gigabit connection!

I will always appreciate the non-profit coops that support the small communities which are neglected by profit driven capitalist companies.
