Very interesting. The publishing sector of relx alone (Elsevier) has a Revenue of 2.909m with adjusted profit of 1.100m. Thus, each article could be nearly 40% cheaper, without anyone loosing his job (except shareholders)

The CEO earns a whopping 11million - congratulations! Erik was working 130x as hard as the median worker and even 190x as hard as the 25th percentile worker is paid - ok that is a bit populistic, but then again it is elsevier.
