Finally happening! CARB is meeting their revised goal to begin accepting consumer applications in 2024:

"The first e-bike incentive application window OPENS on December 18, 2024 at 6pm PST.

"The California E-Bike Incentive Project is funded by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

"E-Bike Incentive vouchers will be granted to California residents who are 18 years or older that meet the defined income requirements.

"A portion of the incentives are set aside for priority applicants of a defined income range or that reside in a low-income/disadvantaged community.”
