schwarzweißbild. landschaft. dezember. leichter nebel. unteres drittel dunkel durch äcker. obere zwei drittel durchgehend weiß durch himmel. links und rechts brach liegende raue dunkle äcker. bild wird durch einen leicht vereisten alsphaltweg geteilt. der verläuft breit beginnend von linker unterer ecke nach rechts und verjüngt sich in tiefe des bildes hineinlaufend in einem fluchtpunkt, der im rechten unteren drittel des bildes liegt. im fluchtpunkt, zu dem das auge des betrachters durch den weg geführt wird, steht ein großer knochiger dunkler baum mit mächtiger runder blattloser krone. der weg und der baum bestimmen das bild.
