I love this elegant and unusual fanlight on Virginia House (Scottish Legal Buildings) on Virginia Street in Glasgow. This building was designed by Alexander Skirving and was constructed in 1889.

Sunburst transom window over the entrance to a tenement in the west end of Glasgow.

I love this as a design feature. There's really no need for such a window to look like this, but in doing so it adds so much to the building.
