Now I'm thinking about it and wondering about the qualifications to be a safe space - trying to get it to as quantifiable a checklist as possible.

- does not support, implicitly or explicitly, transphobic or homophobic creators (i.e. stitching a Harry Potter piece)
- respects individuals' names, pronouns, and identities
- does not themselves hold transphobic or homophobic beliefs

Like it's a three-step checklist. It shouldn't be that hard.

Although I would actually add two more checkmarks that others might consider more extreme or stringent.

- does not actively participate in a faith whose doctrines are anti-LGBTQ
- chooses to amplify queer voices over their own

I don't know if anyone else runs into this (or cares) when it comes to flosstube, but there's so much wide acceptance of HP and JKR it's mind-boggling.

I've started trying out new channels by watching their WIP parade to see if they'll tell on themselves before I get too into it.

I was THREE HOURS into a WIP parade before one showed her ass. I want those three hours back.

I was thinking of making a list of flosstubes unsafe for queer people but now I might have to make a list of flosstubes that ARE safe. Because it'll be shorter.
