A couple more colors on #PixelSmaug. It def goes much slower now because of all the confetti. But it slowly becomes more defined shapes and colors.

3 different pieces of cross stitch. The biggest is one giant piece of white aida cloth with a small corner in the upper left stitched in black shapes. On top of it lie two other works. One is a cute little dragon with flowers, still quite larg but the giant Smaug wip makes it look small lol. The other is a D20 showing a nat 1 with the word "FUCK" underneath. The dice is filled with a blue gradient and the letters are also blue. A few spots are still unstitched

ADHD brain said we should start another wip 🫠 This will be a present for the DM of my DnD group. And since I couldn't find Aida that I liked I made good use of my waste canvas and used ordinary fabric.

While aida in a wooden hoop. I hold it up into the sun outside, shirt grass in the background. On the fabric a cute colorfull dragon is handstitched. It wears a flower crown and sits on some yellow and orange flowes, surounded by golden and blue leaves. The blue leaves aren't finished yet, the big flowers in the middle are almost finished.

More black! I already started a few stitches in ebony, but you barely see the contrast as it is a very dark brown.

Finished another cross-stitch thing. I liked that this kit came with a second, sharp, needle for the backstitches, of which many went between the holes on the grid.

I didn't like the isolated confetti stitches at the bottom, but I'm learning to tuck those ends into the weave of the canvas itself.

Around eighteen months after starting, my wife's completed the second of her king cards cross stitches, the King of Hearts. Like the first one this one is about 110,000 stitches. Two to go.

Looks a bit like Star Trek's Q to us.

A completed cross stitch is laid out on a flat surface. It's about 40 centimetres wide and 60 centimetres high and it depicts a stylistic King of Hearts playing card. The pale-faced king looks straight at us and has a tall red hat on with matching jacket sporting flared shoulders and a sash across the front, all lined with gold. Finished another stitch-along project from Lanarte. This one was 13 weeks and the last pattern was sent out just before Christmas but I couldn't get to it until this week. I ordered the kit like the day before they revealed it was a full-coverage design, else I think I'd have preferred stitching this on Aida because stitching 1 strand over 2 (in the sky) really warps the fabric.

I've changed computers recently and even though I was able to install the software again, I can't enable the paid version, since their website is not on air anymore and there's no way to verify my code.
