I officially stated my project. I know exactly how I want to build it and I only use things I'm not familiar with. Yes, I like pain. For the back end I use #elixir with #phoenix and #absinthe. The last one is to use #graphql. I'm more familiar with #rest but I decided to go proper. The reason for using elixir is that while it's not the fastest it's also the most robust to handle heavy loads. I also subscribe to the idea that back end is usually a problem that functional solves better. For the front end I will go with #dart using #flotter. The reason is that my front end will be a mobile, desktop and web app. I'm also doing all of this with a #tmux / #neovim kind of work flow. I start to get good at it. I was thinking of maybe go with #liveview but I really like the flexibility that flotter gives.

We're migrating Hackers' Pub to a pretty unconventional tech stack, and I'm honestly excited about it!
Thanks to my friend @xiniha, we're diving into #Solid, #SolidStart, #Pothos, #GraphQL, and #Relay. In a world dominated by Next.js and React, this feels refreshingly different. And yes, we're sticking with #Deno instead of Node.js too.
Some might call it contrarian, but I like to think of it as exploring what's possible beyond the mainstream. Sometimes the road less traveled leads to interesting places.
#HTMX is growing on me.
It felt weird at first to generate frontend from the backend. But I gave in because writing more code at the backend was way too tempting. I just can't hold #javascript right.
Using templates and SQL, creating frontend using #php and htmx is pretty nice. Kind of feel like doing #graphql and #Rest together.
But at the end of the day, I am writing less javascript and it is great.
