Die #Bergensbanen ist eine beeindruckende Strecke durch die Landschaft #Norwegen|s und ich kann es schwer empfehlen, diese Strecke bei Tageslicht zu befahren. Die Aussicht, gerade auf dem #hardangervidda ist unvergleichlich! Ich klebe förmlich an der Scheibe. Fotos unbearbeitet (Farbe, die wird durch die Scheiben etwas verfälscht).

Beginning of the Hike at Hardangervidda, Norway. We started in Kinsarvik and walked up the mountain for a four day hike. This was the view after the first few kilometers where the trail is basically a nice path. Used the SOS button on my #Garmin #InReach for the first time. Fortunately (for me) not for me, but to get a helicopter for a Polish hiker, who broke his leg on the shore of the river next to the hut (Hadlaskard) in the middle of #Hardangervidda.

WW2, the #Telemark campaign conducted by #Norwegian #SOE operators required them to survive in #Hardangervidda, the highest northern plateau. How? Moss pre digested in reindeer stomachs, left out to freeze then cooked.
