The dataset contains 12 distinct tasks: resting state, movie watching, SSVEP, and memory tasks. These tasks are annotated using Hierarchical Event Descriptors (#HED), providing enough detail for researchers to build multivariate statistical and machine learning models—or even for an #LLM to reconstruct the task timeline entirely from metadata (in fact, more than half of our preprint figures are generated using Anthropic Claude Sonnet 3.5 by providing the HED annotations 🤓).
