Warum immer gleich einen wackligen Cloud-Dienst anbieten und nicht einfach gleich stabile frei zugängliche APIs bereitstellen?

Just got my custom CFS card set up to monitor my local streams! Home Assistant dashboard with CFS for local rivers, to include mean and flow and color codes for each.

According to my sensors, at 4:33 PM the temperature outside of my house peaked at 115.6F (46.4C), and the feels like temperature at 132.4F (55.7C). Mind you: this sensor is in a well ventilated and shaded area.

According to the official measurements, at 4PM the RDU airport sensors hit 100F (37.7C) temperature, with a feels like of 111F (43.8C). The local news channel (WRAL) says this is above the 15-year record of 99F (37.2F) in 2010.

So weit so gut.

Bitte
#Boost für mehr Reichweite. 🙏

@LokiTheCat To be sure, if you are about exactitude of color reproduction, Hue wins. Their products are among the easiest to integrate and are very reliable. The others are catching up, and at lower price points.

BTW, I don’t recommend Wyze. My experience is not so good. I’m looking forward to trying Aqara bulbs; seen good reviews but it is early. For LED strips, I’d go for BTF-Lighting. Far and above the competition. Also, Hue motion sensors are not so good. #HomeAutomation #HomeAssistant

But dammit, it restored ALL the associations AND cryptographic links.

Pretty happy with how the upcoming #sauna page looks in #HomeAssistant .

Switches and buttons and curves, what else can make a man happy ?

(If the value seem strange it’s because the breaker is off, just testing how it reacts but not heating as it doesn’t have a roof/door yet)

A complex area of low pressure is approaching Tasmania from the west.
It's nicely reflected in the pressure sensors built into my Aqara temperature sensors, showing easily the lowest pressure since I got them all together in April.

Line graph of mean pressure versus time, from 1 April to present.
There are various fluctuations, but recent days has seen the pressure plummet.

Every time I do a PiHut order I add on a few extra M5Stack components.
Got an OLED display and an 8Angle working with #ESPHome to play around with.
The display is for pro-typing how I want to add a display to the #HomeAssistant Voice PE.
The 8Angle is just for testing, I like to emulate battery percentages, moisture levels etc in automations and it's great to have a tactile physical thing rather than jumping back and forth to an input number helper.

An M5Stack Atom Matrix, powered by an M5Stack TailBat battery attached to an M5Stack 8Angle strip of potentiometers with LED lights indicating their position

On a whim, I wanted to know if #meteoswiss provides an API for getting the data of swiss weather stations (because I couldn't find a #homeassistant integration for it). Turns out: they have one since last month and it's part of the wider swiss #opengovernmentdata ecosystem. Nice!

(and they also publish other interesting data such as pollen concentration)

Inconclusive, but solved. I refreshed my local source tree for my cloud-only debugging instance and dug a bit around in the uncommented -plugin code, adding logging here and there, re-authenticating once or twice and renaming my devices in the app for good measure.

After doing nothing in particular, it starts working in the debug-installation, and a simple reload on the real instance fixes the integration/device. Make what you want of this.

Added a new calendar view to github.com/paviro/KoShelf/ Quite happy with it now, also redesigned the statistics page a bit. A Home Assistant addon is also available! #KoReader #Reading #Books #HomeAssistant

Screenshot of KoShelf's 'Calendar' dashboard showing June 2025 reading activity. The interface displays monthly stats: 10 books, 144 pages read, 1h 30m total reading time, and 17% days read. A calendar grid shows colorful horizontal bars representing reading sessions on various dates, with notable activity clusters on June 16-18 and June 19-22.Screenshot of KoShelf’s ‘Reading Statistics’ dashboard. The interface shows overall stats like total reading time, pages read, and session durations. A heatmap tracks daily reading streaks across the year, with the current and longest streak at 4 days. Below, weekly stats display time spent reading, pages per day, and average session time. The sidebar on the left includes navigation for Books, Statistics, and Calendar.Screenshot of KoShelf, a static website generator for book tracking. The interface has a dark theme with a sidebar menu on the left featuring 'Books', 'Statistics', and 'Calendar'. The main area shows a 'Currently Reading' section with one book and an 'Unread' section with 22 classic books. Each book is displayed with its cover, and many are marked 'New'. At the top right, there’s a search bar and a filter dropdown for sorting. The bottom-left corner shows version info and the last update timestamp.

Unfortunately the aforementioned switches does NOT seem to support detaching. At least zigbee2mqtt sees nothing related to detaching exposed on the config.

Anyone got some workarounds?
