She’ll share insights from the 3R-US team on developing human tumor models – often called “tumors in dishes” – and how they are applied in the lab to test new therapies. The talk will also highlight approaches like bioprinting, alternatives to animal testing, and cancer biotherapeutics designed to activate the immune system.

These round structures have an inner core of antigen-presenting cells and a broader rim of effector T cells. The presence of TLS is associated with treatment response to #immunotherapy in various cancers (e.g. #sarcoma, #melanoma, #lungcancer). But what triggers their existence?
