I actually think my biggest de-motivator right now is Apple’s services division. I cringe every time I look at the App Store and I get so riled up when the Settings app gets a badge because it wants to show me some form of ad.

My app succeeds despite my total disregard for advertising and App Store optimization. There’s no way that would work today if I were starting from scratch.

I took a little break and just started working on the macOS version of Snippets Studio again. I realized I wasn't super happy with the previous macOS implementation. So the sidebar has been tweaked a little and theres no more third column. It was just giving me too many issues and I wasn't very happy with how it came out. The UI is still not perfect (and neither is the code itself LOL) but I much prefer the current state of the app in the screenshot. The CodeView, Tags View and Languages View appear in sheets now (will implement option later to show CodeView in a separate window; possibly the same for tags and languages if I don't think of something better).

We are now periodically refreshing the JWKS from FQAuth server. And we are now periodically reverifying the JWTs, and logging out if needed. Also, the JWT is now verified on login as well. Which means, we aren't blindly trusting the JWTs.
