After building a paginated list of items using Dexie’s liveQuery feature, I’ve now refactored the project to use static queries instead.
The live updates aren’t worth the hassle and inconsistencies you have to deal with when using liveQueries—although I’d love for a future version of Dexie to make this easier (which it seems there are plans for in v5 🤞).
As I now have less time to sit and work on Spark new features, I decided to spend some time on preparing marketing materials, so brace yourselves, cringe post and graphics are coming sometime next week. 😜

Today, I spent time crafting the onboarding process for the Slack integration of my app that lets you say "thanks" to your teammates with a slice of pizza 🍕
With this change, I (hopefully) make it easier to add the bot to the important channels during the installation of the app.
