and there is no sequencer giving you 96x18 pads is there. is basically the area of 3 . sq64 is 4x16. lol. lmao.

(do miss my korg dj tho, that was one mean little usb-powered with soundcard (!) and plenty knobs to twiddle. kinda like a postmodern hurdygurdy, gotta get me one again before they stop)

using this and 2-3x 3.5mm<->2xRCA wires instead of bluetooth pairing does magic things like non-disruptively let 2nd person play a song or two :D

the korg kaoss dj which is one of these freaky everything in one devices presenting as the dinkiest "dj mixer" controller ever but in fact being so much more

#SpaceX has around 16 flight-proven #Falcon boosters in its fleet, with several more new-build #rockets slated to fly by the end of the year.
The main #limitation of #SpaceXโ€™s #LaunchRate is not the availability of flight-ready #rocketsโ€”itโ€™s the turnaround of the companyโ€™s three #Falcon9 #LaunchPads. arstechnica.com/space/2023/07/

In ๐Ÿ“† April 2024, #RocketFactory aims to achieve the first-ever #orbital #satellite ๐Ÿ›ฐ๏ธ launch from a #LaunchPad called Fredo.

#SaxaVord will build a total of five #LaunchPads, with the site able to take #rockets up to 35 metres long ๐Ÿ“. heraldscotland.com/news/236113

The US ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ #FCC received requests for 38,000 new #satellites in 2021. If half of that were launched that would triple the number of active satellites ๐Ÿ›ฐ๏ธ in #orbit today. As a result, there is a healthy demand for #Launchpads capable of sending a #rocket ๐Ÿš€ to orbit. thespacereview.com/article/456

#LaunchPads are springing up across Europe ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ as the small #rocket market takes off after decades of institutional dominance by national #SpaceAgencies.

A #HongKong ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ -based company will build and operate a #spaceport covering at least ten square kilometres (four square miles) in #Djibouti ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฏ. The facility will include seven #launchpads and three #rocket ๐Ÿš€ testing pads.

Djibouti has much to offer. It is not far from the #equator, where the #Earth ๐ŸŒ rotates fastest, giving rockets a boost. Access to the sea would enable clients to #import rockets and other bulky equipment by #ship ๐Ÿšข. They could also #launch eastwards over the #ocean, minimising risks for people in surrounding areas while taking advantage of the Earthโ€™s #rotation economist.com/china/2023/01/19
