You should always have a #confirmation dialog for not undoable #delete actions in your #app. Otherwise you or your users will #lose precious #data sooner than later.
I just deleted one of my #mastodon posts using my own client on a mobile device, because my finger just went on the wrong menu item by accident and I hadn't implemented a confirmation dialog yet. At least this was easily fixable and luckily it happened to my and not to one of the early real users.
