1) How can one say↙️ "suitable for use in practical alkaline water electrolysis" ↘️ when at only 900hr the 1A/cm2 hydrogen crossover ↘️↘️ becomes 0.9% H2 in O2 #HTO, or 22.5% of the lower flammability limit #LFL for #H2 in #O2?
ISO-22734 requires shutdown at 2% H2, or 50% of the #LFL! Extrapolation shows that 2% H2 would be reached in only 1,100 more hours of operation!
2) RE: "without significant damage to the membrane" - I'd say a 4x increase in #HTO at 900hr is "damage", wouldn't you??

Things have been a little different lately: for one, I've been #gaming a lot less often and #writing consistently instead. I've got a #fantasy project coming up soon that I'll be posting about here with the hashtag #NotAHeroStory. I'm excited (and nervous) to share it with all of you beautiful people!

Another change is that I haven't been here as often as I'd like lately because it's #LittleFreeLibrary season! With the current climate in #USPol we've decided to get deadly serious about our #LFL this year. We've become an Official #BookCrossing Zone, started a #SilentBookClub, and even (finally) become a PokeStop in #PokemonGo. We've got big plans for #Halloween that we're going to start working on soon...

Otherwise, I'm still into #horror, #metal, and working on getting more #tattoos. Some things never change, after all 😅

But WIPO pending app ⬇️ WO2024061976A3 by #SSL shows:

The vibrant & diverse #FernwoodCommunity is one of my fave local communities & has been for decades. I attended elementary & jr high schools in Fernwood area during the 80s. I love all the public art, all around this community - there's art to be seen on almost every block. Many little free libraries in Fernwood too. There's also a public community garden at the community center on Gladstone. It is one of the most welcoming communities on South Vancouver Island with a very diverse #BIPOC & #LGBTQ2S population. Many POC families live in this community, including new migrants. Fernwood Square is a multi-use site with many past/present/future free community events & longtime gathering spot for local activists.

Speaking of #LFL … Folks often ask me if it is much used since we are off the beaten path (rural farm setting).

Well, here's an action shot from a week or so ago. (the photo is obscured enough, right?) We are indeed away from high traffic areas, but we do still get the occasional usage. We do have a camera set up (the library is located at our front gate), but so far people don't seem to mind.
