If you work with laser cut veneer covered plywood, which kind of finish do you apply to it that looks good and offers decent protection? And, ideally, highlighting any laser etching too. Varnish? Beeswax? Shellac?

With my Linux Mint install the windows have a tiny, almost invisible scroll bar on the right. If I can get the mouse pointer in the right place, it expands to just visible but very hard to land the pointer on for scrolling.

Is there a way to make it wider so that humans can find and use it please?

This has been sorted, out.
Settings, Themes, Advanced settings, Settings, Scroll bar.

It doesn't work on every scroll bar (it does tell you this) and open documents and applications may need to be closed and reopened for it to take effect, but it is a lot better this way.

Anyone know enough about the ATmega328 to know if the UART can cope with something else disabling interrupts for ~2mS...?

That sounds like quite a lot to me.

This is for handling MIDI, so I think at 31250 that would be enough for up to two complete 3-byte messages to have gone past...

Am about to pile into the datasheet, but the UART was always a bit of "mystery magic that just worked" for me...

Someone is having issues with its MIDI being recogised by MiniDexed and I could really do with knowing what USB endpoints it has :)

There are bespoke drivers for Windows, but I can't find a definitive comment about support in Linux...

Anyone know what these connectors are (wired - top)? I thought they were JST XH2.54 but as you can hopefully see, they are subtly different...

The socket they go into is shown in the bottom photo.

I'm still on the lookout for someone who can walk me through the pico_audio library if anyone has used it in anger...

Presumably the idea is that PIO auto feeds PWM/I2S and triggers DMA which triggers regular updates when empty from the audio buffers, so all we have to do is keep them topped up with samples...?

... but it would be nice to know I've got that right! :)

Ok, so this is the 3.58MHz clock signal I'm measuring from this circuit. Does that look like its working correctly?

This is feeding a MCU... could that be right? I'd have expected a sharper edge...
