Sparklehorse - Bird Machine
Who better than Steve Albini to “force” Mark Linkous into getting these lovely songs onto tape, quickly and simply.
A melancholy experience listening and knowing neither will be making any new material, but happy for what we have.
This, of course, was a “lost” album, finished by Mark’s brother and some collaborators.
A fitting tribute to all involved. RIP.
