This site/service [now] provides detailed current and historical stats on bus service reliability for MARTA, Atlanta's primary public transit agency.

This is in addition to the current syndication of service alerts to Bluesky via alerts.marta.fail

Why?

👉 Because MARTA's own KPIs for missed trips is only updated quarterly, and without any breakdown by routes. (see image). Accountabilty is needed.

👉 And bus service reliability is a big problem: a problem that disproportionately impacts those without alternative transportation, and there should be some accountability for that.

I have some other applications of this (literally! 📱) in process too, so more to come.

Die Copa wurde kurzerhand zum wichtigen Meilenstein auf dem Weg zur ersten WM der Frauen in Südamerika, nachdem die WM 2027 im Mai dieses Jahres an Brasilien vergeben worden war. Neben den sportlichen Kräfteverhältnissen stand international die Turnier-Organisation im Fokus der lokalen wie internationalen Berichterstattung, befeuert durch Spielerinnen-Kritik und -Proteste. Aber, um das alles richtig einordnen zu können, muss man aus europäischer Perspektive einmal verstehen, wie dieser Wettbewerb funktioniert.

I took the bus to the mall, and we got stuck in mall traffic for at least 30 minutes before people could get off. There were four northbound buses on MARTA route 110 bunched near Lenox mall as a result of police "regulating" traffic and as a result of a pro-Palestine protest near the mall.
