@icooperauthor sort of think I've seen @bitterkarella raise the anachronistically-old trope thing in some of their #MidnightPals threads.

Somewhere recently-ish I read an appreciation of Poe as an editor. I need to go look that up because @bitterkarella's take on him with their 'Poe' character in #MidnightPals threads is making me think about that.

One of these days I'm gonna actually break down & read #CliveBarker & I'm convinced in advance it's going to be a terrible disappointment because there's just no way in hell the real person can live up to @bitterkarella's #MidnightPals version of him.

The lovely folks at #PseudoPod, the horror fiction podcast, invited me to host an episode of flash fiction stories - and it came out yesterday!

They’re great! It’s creepy, eerie horror, not the visceral, violent kind. And one of them is by @bitterkarella, creator of the microfiction Twitter account the #MidnightPals, where beloved (and infamous) writers are lovingly lampooned and/or savagely satirised.
