In my line of work, I've assessed many people with concussions, all of which are different (the people, their injuries, their circumstances). Kate's reflections gave me new insight into the myriad chasms facing an injured brain, and how contingent they are on societal factors. (This felt particularly apt: "It’s entirely fair, I think, to call an illness like post-concussion syndrome as much a sociogenic as a cognitive-neurological one.")
I also appreciated her link to Tove Danovich's essay in the Atlantic: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2023/10/concussion-brain-injury-treatment-recovery/675554/ with its practical recommendations for early rehab (especially vestibular rehab).
