I'm currently practicing my Amigurumi skills, experimenting with different yarns and techniques. I feel I have so much to learn, because so far, Amigurumis were not amongst my favourites to make. I still need to be careful, because they are hard on my hands.

I'm very much still learning Amigurumi, so this time, it was about practicing with smaller yarn. Which I prefer to the Velvet yarn, as I can actually see the stitches. :D

Inspired by @lizainprogress I wanted to make my own Mushroom Guy. (thanks for the encouragement!) We lovingly call him Shroomie. It's both great and dangerous when the grocery store across the street also carries yarn for your basic yarnie needs and allows you to get supplies for spontanous projects. Velvet Yarn and I will not become friends any time soon, but he did turn out super adorable. I also crocheted the eyes and I think they turned out great and give his little face lots of character.
