we were #myspace natives, & saw it fumble. replaced with #facebook, we helped it grow, & saw it turn kak, we helped #twitter grow, & saw it turn kak. the younger end helped #vine grow, & saw it fumble, replaced with #tiktok, which is kak. #instagram has a staying power, but it's also quite kak tbh.

Have we got to the point where #Twitter/X is afforded the same attention level as #MySpace or #FriendsReunited yet?

Looking through my Immich memories and came across this gem.

One of my old edgy MySpace profile photos from 2007. I was 17 and obsessed with purple (still my favourite colour). I spent a bit of time in a cracked version of Macromedia Fireworks selecting around the edge of my hoodie to turn everything else black and white.

I don’t know what fills me with more cringe though; the photo itself, or the fact that it’s now older than I was in the photo. 😩😆
