See the car-sized sinkhole that’s opened up in Montreal’s NDG neighbourhood
Part of Somerled Avenue is closed as the borough tries to figure out the source of the water leak, since that’s likely the cause of the sinkhole. To do that, water pressure in the area has been lowered. There’s no timeline on repairs until the borough finds the source of the problem.

3 men face 1st-degree murder charges in connection with NDG homicide
The men — Samuel Jourdain Cody, 35 , Dariush Kabirinaeini, 22, and Bryan Moreau-Gignac, 26 — are expected to appear at the Montreal courthouse Friday afternoon where they will be formally charged, according to Quebec's prosecutor's office.

there are far too many unhinged carbrains in the borough that think adding speeding and parked cars to this scenario will make children safer.... I'm glad to see that they are being wisely ignored
Was down in #ndg tonight at the conseil d'arrondissement where the Rue Terrebonne bike path is in its 5th year of debate, it is now forging ahead.
Democracy would be a lot better if everyone could make it down to these things, it was very good natured despite all the disagreement.
