I've given my AS-1973 FET Compressor preset a thorough re-work and am happy to tell you about it. It has three bands, and it compresses in a manner similar to a #Drawmer1973. It is inspired from some plugins that I tried on Windows, but since moving to #LinuxAudio #MusicProduction I have been building my own versions of things as presets.

As much as possible I try to develop in Bitwig version 4.0. Fans of #BonkWave and #NotBonkWave may also find this a handy tool to use.

Since I haven't been able to participate in the last few Bonkwave releases I haven't heard them yet. Which is both sad and amazing because I've missed out on hearing some great music, but now I have some awesome fun listening ahead of me!
I'm thinking I should sit down and do some live posting of sorts while I listen. That sound like fun. Does that sound like a good idea?

I just love loookg at all of the fun happening with #bonkwave and everyone getting a compilation together. I’m excited to hear the results. I’m sure it will be awesome.
I hadn’t checked the hashtag in a while and saw the deadline for submissions on a new volume was coming up and I almost tried to put something together quickly, but I decided to not push myself.
This does mean I can be ready for the next one when it comes up!

Stemming off of what @decibyte said, the deadlines we have are arbitrary and there will be future compilations, sample challenges, etc.

If you get something in - that's okay.
If you don't get something in - that's okay too.

There is always #FutureBonk because that will eventually become #PresentBonk 😎 ✌️

Don't rush it. Don't worry if you miss today's deadline for the upcoming #BonkWave compilation. It's not because you're a failure. It's not because you're #NotBonkWave. Quite the opposite. It's because you're at the frontline, a creator of #FutureBonk.

I just wanted to say all the fervour around #BonkWave and #NotBonkWave tracks being shared, status updates, the encouragement from others and just the sheer unbridled joy that people are having is warming my heart.

Current bonkwave status:

Agonizing over tempo.

My tunes always seem to feel 'slow' compared to most. I don't know if it's just a matter of taste, they sound fine when I'm making them. But after I listen to other tunes from previous bonkwave comps for example, mine suddenly seems a bit ponderous and slow.

So I might speed it up a bit for the compilation

Well for some reason my computer is having kernel panics now, as I try to finish my bonkwave tune

Feeling a bit judged tbh
