Here's a little workout that I made just now with performing my #BitwigStudio v4.0 #Buchla259 preset patch into a screen capture session. It's clumsy as I have not set up a controller to operate it and I have practiced exactly not at all on this. I do, however, really like the #BonkWave (or #NotBonkWave ) potential of what is going on here.

The "Bonks of Spring" submission form closes today (14th May) at 23:59, but a word of warning to anyone pushing the deadline, we don't know what timezone that's in so it could be earlier than you think.

Oh look! I've made another #BitwigStudio v4.0 preset - this time it's my take on the iconic Drawmer 1973 FET Three-Band Stereo Compressor. Why do this? It's fun and I want to apply this as a mastering compressor and hate plugins which require iLok. Your mileage will likely vary, but I like what it does to my tracks.

Earworming the latest track I submitted to the #BonkWave #NotBonkWave project (just because that's what happens when I've worked on a track a lot), and there's a tune that pops in continuously that isn't actually in the final track. Maybe it was there when I first started working on it... not sure. But it might be something to use if I create another version of it.

This was a really fun project, and one that taught me a *lot* along the way. I'm not much for genres, but I've settled on #ambientTechno as the closest thing I can think of. Or #bonkwave ? #notBonkwave ? I can't really tell which is more apt, so judge for yourself.
