Wow. That shit is terrible: so a friend organized this spontaneous, friendly, DIY, mutual aid booth within the ULB during FOSDEM.

In a few hours, they got evicted by someone from the official staff of the conference. What the fracking flooding fuck? I'll add more details after.

I don't see myself getting to Brussels anytime soon, unfortunately. Actually, I don't see myself leaving #Usonia right now. I don't want to deal with nasty customs on the return trip. :(

Et c'est mon dernier jour à Bruxelles. C'était génial ! Très belle ville, très cosmopolite. On était au #Fosdem pour échanger sur l'interprétariat #LSF puis yavait le #Offdem mais moins en phase avec nos Objectifs.

On a visité plein de musées et là ce sera le centre-ville. La belgique, c'est trop cool : bière, frites, chocolat, plein de langues différentes :frog_love:

Bref suis de retour les jlailutin et jlailutines :)

I was at this years #OFFDEM. Unfortunately it wasn't as intense and progressive as last year. Therefore I decided to make something useful for me and the community and made a poster as a conversation starter!

How to build Community Resilience
communities should increase the sense of coherence, which consits of comprehensability, meaningfulness and manageability.
resilient communities adhere to these 8 principles:
1 clearly defined boundaries
2 those who are effected by decisions make decisions
3 decisions are made through collective-choice arrangements that are accessible by all participants
4 rule enforcement by the community itself
5 graduate sanctions
6 accessible conflict resolution mechanisms
7 the self-governance doesn't have to be undermined by external actors
8 larger communities shoud be devided in nested sub-communities
