Two copies of a very small one to ten thousand orienteering map of a runnable woodland on a south facing slope. The map is four colour (no blue register as it is a limestone area and dry).

One to Fifteen Thousand five colour orienteering map of a hilly bit of the Forest of Dean. Mixed runnability, lots of contour detail.

Strines 1978. A very fine runnable forest used for the #JK relay. Now the western part has been turned into moorland and the area has long since disappeared from fixture lists.

1:10000 scribed orienteering map - very clear, of a runnable forest with two steep sided valleys in the middle of the area. There is a remarked course from a relay event. Drawn by Vic Roberts. Typical of the style of mapping further north in Yorkshire at the time.

Testing my touchscreen fixes for mainline kernel regressions on #Nokia 770 using #busybox shell and a virtual keyboard on framebuffer. The keyboard is very small but accurate enough for typing shell commands reliably with a pen.

The userspace binary size of my touch GUI is around 20 KB including bitmaps for the "keys" which I generated using the UNIX banner command and sed.

Prepared some #batteryfree #Nokia #N9 devices for mainline #Linux #OMAP #hacking. All of them had swollen battery - wouldn't keep this old stuff around anymore at home w/battery connected.

Removal is PITA. Plastics (cover needs to be stretched) has aged & cracks, also maybe 50% screws broke when unscrewing them thanks to heavy thread lock. Not sure what all I broke but at least 1 display remains working. TV out is handy in case you break the display.

This kind of mechanics should be illegal.

This map was used for the final day of the first Scottish 6 days. I missed this due to it being a travel day. A very fine pine wood, well worth a visit.
