Second session of my #BasicFantasy camapign. I'm using magnetic tiles and scenery on metal whiteboards. The boards can be moved around without knocking everything over.

I'm running a West Marches style game. Anyone can join any adventure.

The scenery is from Print N' Paste, Fat Dragon and others.

I've collected a lot of paper scenery, but the oddest is the Numenera Terrain set from Fat Dragon.

Numenera just seems like a strange choice of a setting to produce terrain for.

Just using miniatures in Numenera seems questionable (though they exist), and making scenery for a setting with ever more bizarre settings and vistas seems crazy...and yet it exists.

I've used it for other sci-fi settings, but I can't imagine using it for Numenera.

Whenever I get a cardboard box in the mail, I slice it up with a box cutter and use it to make 2.5D files using Heroic Maps Modular paper tilesets.

One of my favorite resources for paper minis is the Printable Heroes site.

It's mostly fantasy miniatures intended for #DnD games, with a really nice filtering feature to find what you're looking for.

It was designed for the artist's Patreon followers, but the basic minis & VTT tokens are free.

Last session of Blasters + Intrigue, our heroes delved into the Mines of Mandalore where they sought to liberate a group of political prisoners from an Imperial labor camp!
I use "negative space" for the walls of my caves; cave floors are just made of vinyl floor tile cut to shape. Stalagmites made from paper mache.
