I was screwing with picoCTF challenges while waiting for a friend's stream and did the 'like1000' challenge. After I finished it I looked at writeups to see how other people solved it. Almost everyone seems to have used python and looped a bunch, and generated piles of files.
I ended up spending more time screwing with code and did it all in RAM (*really* fast too).

I set up a #picoCTF classroom for my family so we can get a leader board and track our progress doing #infosec #CaptureTheFlag challenges as a family over the summer.
Think of it as a summer reading program, but with hacking puzzle challenges geared towards middle and high schoolers.
PicoCTF is run by #CarnegieMellonUniversity and is completely free. While they have official tournaments each year, all past challenges are available for practice.
